- As pross implant insertion the tapered spiral advances, it pushes the spongy cancellous bone aside so compression is applied and creating a layer of cortical bone around the implant.

Pross implant has two types of thread profile
- Anchor thread has sharp & deep thread profile that promotes high primary stability.
- Load sharing thread is a combination of two threads, Base thread and top thread which is small thread formed on the top of base thread. This Load sharing threads engage actively with surrounding bone. Because it is blunt thread comparatively it transfer less shear force under dynamic loading and prevents mechanical damage of bone.
